Naast algemene gynaecologie en verloskunde zijn er subspecialisaties op het gebied van fertiliteit, perinatologie, bekkenbodemproblematiek, seksuologie, oncologie en endoscopische chirurgie. Op velerlei gebieden wordt er samengewerkt en multidisciplinair overlegd met andere specialisten zoals internisten, MDL-artsen, chirurgen, kinderartsen, urologen en anesthesiologen. We zijn een vakgroep met ruimte voor eigen initiatief, ondernemerschap en professionele ambitie. Daarnaast participeren wij actief in de opleiding tot gynaecoloog en in de opleiding tot basisarts, tropenarts, huisarts en eerstelijns-en tweedelijnsverloskundigen. Er zijn jaarlijks 14000 eerste polikliniekbezoeken. De 3000 bevallingen per jaar vinden plaats op het prachtige Geboortecentrum Rhena, dat in 2014 is geopend.
