MDL

De vakgroep MDL bestaat uit 9 MDL-artsen en binnen ons team werken we samen met een verpleegkundig specialist, 2 verpleegkundig endoscopisten en gespecialiseerd MDL-verpleegkundigen. Tevens faciliteren wij het perifere deel van de opleiding MDL. De MDL-zorg wordt op 2 locaties uitgevoerd. Op de hoofdlocatie Dordrecht wordt naast polikliniek en diagnostische endoscopieën ook al onze geavanceerde endoscopische interventies verricht. Op de locatie Zwijndrecht wordt alleen polikliniek en diagnostische endoscopieën verricht.

Als vakgroep hebben we een breed palet aan MDL-zorg dat we aanbieden, waaronder o.a. screeningscentrum voor bevolkingsonderzoek darmkanker en een hepatitisbehandelcentrum. Ons ziekenhuis fungeert als regionaal verwijscentrum voor anti-reflux chirurgie waarbinnen we diagnostiek middels 24-uurs pH impedantie meting en high-resolution manometrie in huis kunnen verrichten en is er een maandelijks MDO samen met GE-chirurgen. De oncologische MDL-zorg heeft duidelijk opgezette zorgpaden, met een MDO waarbij ook regionale partners betrokken zijn. Tevens is er een goed functionerend multidisciplinair bekkenbodemcentrum in samenwerking met de gynaecologie, chirurgie en urologie, waar we vanuit de MDL participeren.
