De Chirurgie wordt in de volle breedte uitgevoerd, waarbij de zorg door in GE chirurgie, vaatchirurgie, trauma chirurgie, longchirurgie en oncologische/mammachirurgie gedifferentieerde chirurgen wordt aangeboden. De vakgroep heeft opleidingsbevoegdheid binnen regio Rotterdam en zet zich in voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek binnen de verschillende differentiaties.
